Our Christmas Eve service is Saturday at 5:30 p.m., and we are on a regular schedule for our Sunday morning service on December 25. Please do not forgot that there is no 9:30 a.m. service on January 1; Meadowview UMC will be hosting an 11:00 a.m. service on January 1 that everyone is invited to attend – Rickey Ray will be the guest preacher.

Eye Glass Donation
If you have glasses you wish to donate please give them to Susan Stanley or place them in her box in the church office. You will be helping one of the 153 million people with uncorrected refractive errors. It costs Lions less than US$0.08 to provide a pair of recycled eyeglasses and change someone’s life.
Mary’s Lunch Box is a program through Meadowview UMC designed to fight poverty in our area by packing and discretely placing food items in children’s backpacks for them to take home on the weekend.

Christmas at Emory
Dec. 5, 7:30 PM, Sanctuary, Emory UMC
The Annual E&H Music Department “Christmas at Emory” will be held on Sunday evening, December 5, at
7:30 PM, in Memorial Chapel. Sounds of the seasons will be presented by a variety of instrumental and choral ensembles. Free and open to the public, but come early to get parking and a good seat.
Dec. 19, 9:30 AM at Emory UMC & 11 AM at Meadowview UMC
“I Hear the Prophet Calling” written by Pepper Choplin, with instrumental arrangements by Stan Pethel, will be offered twice on Sunday morning, December 19, by the combined choirs of Meadowview and Emory UMC. The members of Fire in the Kitchen, featuring our own Tammy Martin, are collaborating with the choirs for this event. The cantata will be presented first at the 9:30 AM service at Emory UMC and repeated in the 11 AM service at Meadowview UMC. Please be present to celebrate the birth of Christ through the ministry of the choirs and instrumentalist.
