Half Century Club: Join your peers and neighbors for lunch on the second Wednesday of each month. This month, we’ll gather at the Blue Willow Café in Saltville on February 13 at 12 p.m. Make your reservations with Evon Crowder (944-5967) by Monday, February 11.

Outing to the Carter Fold: Saturday, February 23. Join us for dinner and music at Hiltons, Virginia. We’ll hear 11 year old fiddler, Aaron Larkey and fellow musicians, “Adam’s Band.” Meet at Lebanon UMC at 4 p.m. Carpool Caravan through Kingsport where we’ll take dinner together at Lynn Garden Restaurant where the fried chicken is famous and the family feel will delight everyone. 8 am — Older Adult Outing to Burke’s Garden in Tazewell Co., VA
Join us as we travel to beautiful Burke’s Garden!  We will enjoy the town’s Fall Festival of Appalachian crafts, home-grown produce, homemade food, demonstrations, live music and historical presentations.  Admission is FREE.  Plan to enjoy festival-style food or bring your own lunch.  Transportation via a 14 passenger bus will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.  Additionally, we will car pool as necessary.

Transportation via a 14 passenger bus will be provided on a first-come-first-served basis. Additionally, we will carpool as necessary. FELLOWSHIPS AVAILABLE: The Cooperative Older Adult Ministry is supported in part by the Margaret Loving Trust. Financial concerns should not be an obstacle for any person who wants to participate. “Fellow-ships” are available for meals and outings. Please contact a pastor for more information.
